Lord Jesus, while You were among us, You established the Church as a means of salvation for all people.  Look now with compassion and mercy upon those who feel alienated from Your Church for any reason.  Some have made the decision to no longer participate in the Church community of their own free will; others may feel the decision was forced upon them because of Church laws if the circumstances of their lives.  Unite these and all Your children wherever they may be.  Guide them back to Your Church so that they may continue to serve You and to grow spiritually in their efforts to attain everlasting life with You.  Amen.
